The Affordable Care Act (ACA) mandates that all people must carry health insurance that complies with ACA minimum Essential Benefit  Standards. Since the open enrollment period has ended for 2016, what can one do if they have no health insurance and need coverage on a short term basis? Products for Short Term Benefits (up to six months), are now available through our agency Randy Jones Ins. Services. Although these products are not considered ACA-compliant, they can still help insureds offset major medical claims costs in the event of an accident or severe illness. We strongly recommend you  DO NOT go without health insurance. Feel free to give us a call at RJINS for details and options available to you.
