It’s that time of year again to change our clocks this Sunday, November 2.  You may not know much about what it is or why we do it so as we prepare to fall back, here is some information about Daylight Saving Time to keep you in the know!

For most of the United States, Daylight Saving Time begins at 2:00 am on the second Sunday in March and reverts at 2:00 am on the first Sunday in November.

This can often be confusing to keep track of!  A helpful phrase that most people are familiar with is “spring forward” and “fall back”. In the spring we move our clocks forward making the clock change from 2:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. essentially losing an hour of sleep. In the fall we move our clocks back from 2:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. gaining back that hour of sleep! Remember to change your clocks back one hour this Sunday!
