Are you ready for Make A Difference Day 2015? October 24^th is the 24^th Anniversary of Make A Difference Day and is the perfect time to see how you can help out by donating your time as a volunteer.

Make A Difference Day is backed by TEGNA Inc. and Gannett Company and is the largest national day of community service. The event is a USA TODAY initiative that helps to celebrate neighbors helping neighbors across the country. Everyone, regardless of location, age, or resources can help to make a difference and accomplish something amazing when they decide to take on issues in their own community.

Each year, many organizations join with USA TODAY and Points of Light to help inspire and recognize the power and valuable work that is done by volunteers. Newman’s Own helps to support the day by awarding $10,000 to the charities of each 10 National Honorees and three Community Awardees.
