Remember COVERED CALIFORNIA Open Enrollment Still Available!

Don’t forget that the initial Open Enrollment for the new Covered California Health Exchange goes through 3/31/14. You still have time to pursue health insurance through Covered California and other health insurance companies, however, we recommend that you don’t put off seeking guidance and information on what plans are available and which ones would best serve your needs and budget.

Applications must be finalized by the 15^th of the prior month to verify qualification for and be effective on the first day of the following month.

For example, if you apply on 2/10/14, you could be effective on 3/1/14. If you apply on 3/25/14, you would not be effective until 5/1/14.
